Founded by Sanny Chaudhary and Daman Singh Kohli, this Gurgaon based startup offers it customers chef curated original recipes from a wide range of cuisines from all over the world. Recipes are delivered in an ice-packed box, cut vegetables & meats are vacuum packed, so that they remain fresh even if one decides not to cook on the same day. If refrigerated properly ingredients remain fresh upto 3 days.

They also provide a step by step tutorial on a large range of recipes.

2. Falafel Factory

Falafel Factory is a venture by two IIT Kharagpur batchmates, Chirag Thaker and Akanksha Prasad. With this venture the two aim to bring to India delicious Falafels. This startup was founded in 2013 and has been growing rapidly in Bangalore since.

Fromahome is a Chennai based startup that is a community marketplace for people to list, discover and buy homemade food from homecooks in town.

This is done by connecting people looking for healthy and hygienic home cooked food to homecooks who prepare great food at home.

It is achieved this by helping homecooks get online and sell homemade dishes to people looking for authentic home cooked food. This can also be a great way to generate income for home cooks.

This Hyderabad based startup is a gateway for people to explore different cultures and meet interesting people to build relations over a meal. The aim is to bring people closer through this initiative. Tandurust is a Bangalore based startup that focuses on fitness and food. The menu consists of a wide variety of cuisines, only with the addition of that “health and nutrition” factor. A common practise is to use whole wheat, multi-grains, green vegetables, pulses and legumes, tofu, flax seeds etc. in most of the preparations so that customers do not compromise on any health grounds. Oats upma, baked mix-veg paratha, peas sandwich, broccoli salad are some of the dishes on the menu.

Dineout is a table reservation startup that was recently in the news because of the TimesCity acquisition. The company was founded by Ankit Mehrotra, Sahil Jain, Nikhil Bakshi and Vivek Kapoor. Yumist is an Indian food startup in Gurgaon launched by ex-Zomato CMO Alok Jain and Abhimanyu Maheshwari. The Yumist app makes ordering delicious, homely meals a breeze. Just a couple of taps and you’re done; it literally takes a few seconds to order and your meal arrives hot and yummy in a matter of minutes. Their app is currently available on Google Play for Android devices. The iOS and Windows Phone versions are coming soon.
