1. Housing.com Bags Five Marketing Awards For Its Campaign, ‘Look up’
At a high profile event held in Mumbai, Housing.com swept awards across five key categories including “Brand Excellence in e-commerce and Internet Business Sector”, “Emerging Brand Award” and “Best New Brand, Product and Service Launch”. Recognizing the stupendous success for Housing.com’s ambitious marketing campaign “Look Up”, Housing.com was also awarded “Marketing Campaign of the Year” and “Best Use of Social Media”.

2. redBus Expands Its Operation To Malaysia And Singapore
The bus ticketing venture redBus.in has stepped out of India and launched it services in Malaysia and Singapore. The users can book the tickets on Android and iPhone apps as well as on the Web through the website redBus.sg. The Ibibo Group which operates redBus.in has said that it is the first expansion of redBus and now would facilitate the people in these countries to book their bus tickets on the go.
This expansion is a part of Ibibo’s “redBus global platform” which supports multiple currencies, languages, time-zones and payment systems.Tourists from India can make bookings on the service in rupees, while Singapore dollars (SGD) and Malaysian ringgits (MYR) are also accepted.
The service aggregates over 100,000 seats on 5,700 bus routes in Singapore and Malaysia on a daily basis, spanning multiple bus operators

3. OLA Launches On-demand Grocery Service ‘OLA Store’
The cab service company OLA Cabs has now launched Ola Store, a standalone hyper-local on demand grocery delivery service after its launch of OLA Café. The service is initially launched in Bangalore with 12,000 products in its inventory in 13 different product categories like grocery, vegetables, frozen food etc.
OLA Store promises to deliver on-demand grocery with speedy delivery bneween 8AM to 11PM daily. It has tied up with stores like Family Mall, Grocery Mart and Namdhari’s Fresh. The app enables the users to get the delivery instantly or schedule it for later delivery. It has all kind of online payment methods enabled, also COD is accepted. Delivery is free for orders valued above Rs 250 and below the minimum order value it charges Rs 30 as delivery fee.
4. Zomato Rolls Out Cashless Payments In India
Gurgaon-based Zomato, one of the fastest growing start-ups in India, which stepped into online food ordering segment a couple of months ago, has introduced online payment systems in India. The customers now will be able to pay through their credit cards, debit cards or net banking accounts while ordering from the Zomato app.
Cashless payment services are seen as a strong revenue contributor for Zomato, as the company will get a commission from restaurants for each transaction. The company has partnered with PayPal to provide the service to its Indian customers.
However, all the restaurants on Zomato’s platform are not accepting online payment; rather a group of selected restaurants has this facility enabled.
Also the updated app will have Zomato Credits which would store all your referral credits and refunds made by the company.
Zomato is already present in 22 countries through acquisitions and India is the second country to have cashless payment system after Dubai.
