Intern would participate in finding methods to collect graphics and GPGPU workload characteristics, either from existing Silicon, RTL or from simulators. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a non-exempt technical nature. As the individual gains experience with the initial build and configuration of the Intel(R) NUC they will be given the opportunity to investigate different usages (current and future) based upon this platform. The intern will be asked to do basic research; an example could be researching what is involved in setting up and using Linux Mint in a Home Theatre PC environment. The intern would build up and gain usage experience with the system. It would be expected that the intern could demonstrate the basic usage of the system and possibly lead a discussion about the pros and cons of the system.
