Innovation Centre Denmark offers a wide range of services tailored to Danish researchers, private companies and public institutions looking to innovate and grow through development partnerships, research collaborations and access to knowledge, technology and networks in India. Their work is focused on three main technology sectors: ICT, cleantech and life sciences. As part of Innovation Centre Denmark, Invest in Denmark provides customized support to Indian companies looking to establish a presence in Denmark.
Three winners will be selected, one per essay subject (Art & Design, Engineering and Natural science). The winners of the The Denmark-India Innovation Challenge will be invited on a fully paid study trip to Denmark. The prize includes round-trip airfare, accommodation and an academic visit programme in Denmark, worth approximately 160,000 INR!
During the trip winners will get the chance visit top universities and gain first-hand experience of student life at a Danish university. They will also be given the chance to meet and network with professors and other university representatives. Innovation Centre Denmark will cover all costs during the winners’ stay in Denmark. The exact date of the trip is to be decided.
The winners will also receive an invitation to a V.I.P. event with representatives from Innovation Centre Denmark, Danish universities and Danish companies.During the event the winners will have the exclusive chance to mingle with top professors and executives from Danish universities and companies. In addition to this, the winners will also have interviews with representatives from Innovation Centre Denmark and selected representatives from Denmark’s top universities and companies, giving the winners a chance to network and create a personal bond with the Danish educational and business communities.The events will be held in Bangalore on November 7, 2014 and in Delhi on November 9, 2014. When you fill out your profile at the end of the challenge, you can select which ceremony you would like to attend.The Innovation Centre Denmark will pay for travel and accommodation costs for all participants that are not from Delhi or Bangalore.

Select one of the following topics to answer a short essay question:

Step 4. Motivation & Profile
Write a personal motivational statement – this is your chance to show us why you deserve to be the winner of the Denmark-India Challenge 2014! Then fill out all the information required and finalize your profile. Here you also select which prize ceremony you would like to attend: Bangalore on November 7, 2014 or the one in Delhi on November 9, 2014.
Step 5. Share and collect likes
The final step of the challenge is to share your profile and collect likes from friends and family. The number of likes you collect will be a factor during the judges’ selection of the competition finalists.
