Napendra Singh’s Internship At Amazon

Napendra Singh, a computer Science graduate from UPTU (Uttar Pradesh Techincal University) talks about his success story. His journey entails  I have total 4.2yrs of work experience. Starting his career with an Internship at Amazon, this is how he earned it.

I have worked with Amazon.com as Intern for 6 months, which is the largest Internet-based retailer in the world.

 Q. What were you looking for in your internship?

Napendra got what he was looking for. He says, “I was looking for an internship where I could get a cutting to work so that I can improve my skills, and become more experienced in my career ahead. And I got the same as I was expecting. In Amazon, I was more into writing automation tools and frameworks”.

Q. How many internships did you apply to before getting shortlisted? 

“Before I was hired by Amazon, I had applied for 3-5 different companies”. I got selected in few but Amazon, of course, was my pick”.

Q. Do you feel more ‘ready’ for the job market? 

As Napendra has a work-ex of 4 years now, he feels he is ready to explore more in his career. He is currenty employed at Aspiring Minds Pvt. Ltd. 

Q. Would you recommend Letsintern to others? If yes, Why? 

“Yes, I got this internship at Amazon through the Letsintern portal. I must say that this is a brilliant platform for students where they can get the opportunity to work as interns with multinational companies, start ups, whatever they like”.

Q. In the end, do you have any tips that can help other students in getting a good internship?

Napendra suggests to all other aspiring interns that they should be willing to take risks and confidently try their hands at new things. He says, “I will suggest to all the students that please keep working on your skills and keep learning new things. Your first step towards your career is the most important step and you will learn a lot from your first job, as I have learnt one thing from Amazon (my first job)–“work hard have fun make history”.
