Smt. Aluru Narayanamma Memorial Educational Society was established by the Founder Cum Secretary Sri Aluru Sambasiva Reddy in November 2007 in memory of his mother Late Smt. Aluru Narayanamma,with a firm belief that “Education is a key enabler for Progress”.The main objective of the Society is to provide Technical education along with human values & professional ethics for Rural Students.Srinivasa Ramanujan Institute of Technology (SRIT), situated at the outskirts of Rotarypuram Village,B.K.Samudram Mandal, Anantapuramu district is the brainchild of the society. The College was established in the year 2008. It has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to JNTUA,Anantapuramu.
SRIT offers B.Tech & M.Tech courses.
B.Tech (intake of 120 each): CIV, CSE, ECE, EEE and MEC
M.Tech (intake of 24 each): CSE - CS, ECE - VLSI Design, and EEE – EPS
Around 100+ students have been placed in reputed MNC's during last 3 academic years by the end oftheir final year exams. 63 students (TCS - 21, Tech Mahindra - 20, Infosys - 3, Capgemini - 6, Mindtree -11, Mobisys - 1, Formac - 1 )of current batch are placed. And, 58 students have cleared written test of Syntel very recently and they are about to appear for Technical & HR interviews soon at Hyderabad. We are very sure that we can reach 100 mark in another 2 to 3 weeks.Our students are being assessed by our partners AMCAT, CoCubes, Formac & eLitmus.Ours is the only college affiliated to JNTUA, Anantapuramu who conducted two international conferences with in the short span of 8 years. We have institutional memberships of IEEE, CSI, ISTE, IETE & IE-I and have been conducting various events such as Guest lectures, Seminars, workshops, National and International conferences.We are awarded as best eGovernance campus by Engineering watch.We have well established laboratories for all streams and good number of volumes in Library. Training & Placement cell is set up in corporate style for conducting training, Group discussions and Interviews.As part of CSR (Corporate Social responsibility), we have been conducting digital literacy programs to near by villagers. We have been helping X standard students of all Government schools of Singanamala constituency by providing them material. We conduct blood donation camps twice in a semester. We joined hands with Jeevani, an voluntary organization which gives shelter to 35 parent-less kids in providing quality education and food over the 8 years.
