Internship Details

About Internship:

The role of a Business Development Intern is to assist the organisations sales and growth
efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition. He/she should be able to provide ideas to
attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and
competitor activity.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
• Research organisations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new
markets
• Research the needs of other companies and identify who makes decisions about
purchasing
• Keep prospective client database updated
• Make cold calls for new business leads
• Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
• Pitch services suitable for client’s requirements
• Arrange meetings with prospective clients
• Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s services
• Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events for lead generation
