MBA in HR Good Communication skills Thinks out of the box Go-getter The Human Resources Intern will learn the practical application of: • Steps in the recruiting and hiring process, including: posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting telephone and in person interviews, making job offers and negotiating starting salaries. • The importance of employment law and compliance, especially regarding employment eligibility, Confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and forms management. The individual would be responsible for initiating the HR department and make way for better resource to join and take over day to day operations while assuming a role that provides further assistance in building up a robust HR department within the organization. The individual will have the flexibility to define strategy and come up with a model that provides utmost value and helps reduce future fixed costs of the organization Qualifications: • Current or recent enrollment in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest and aptitude to work in Human Resources, or non-profit management/administrative fields; • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously; • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications; Note: Being a start-up there is a tremendous opportunity to learn and implement innovative ideas.
