Summary of Role The main responsibility of a Business Development Manager is to develop and perform all sales activities surrounding the My Privilege Card model. Through a consultative approach to client management and sales, you will understand your clients business in order to construct a mutually beneficial offer for our card holders. In turn this will increase the partner's customer base and generate upsell opportunities. You will become a vital part of your clients marketing and business plans. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Liaising with local businesses on negotiable offers for our card holders Responsible for managing all aspects of the deal - from identifying leads, face to face contact, presentation of My Privilege Card and closing of deals Ensuring that leads are continually generated and existing contacts and business are routinely maintained Responsible for carrying out work related instructions issued Organise meetings with prospective businesses Maintaining relationships with established clients Generate leads to help meet daily, weekly targets Extensive travel within the city; meet business owners and sell the concept Maintains accurate records of all sales activities Required skills: 0 to3 years sales experience Proven sales track record High standard of communication and presentation skills Understanding of Discount Card business model Ability to apply an intelligent sales pitch Basic ability to figure out mathematical equations quickly and efficiently Self-motivation, flexibility and ability to sell at all decision-making levels Proactive Comfortable to work long and unpredictable hoursRequired to interact effectively with individuals at all levels Innovative, enthusiastic & a quick thinker Computer skills (an absolute necessity) Highly Motivated Local knowledge and experience preferable
