Internship Details

We are a full-service media production house based out of New Delhi. We have in-house recording studios at par with world standards of music production and audio post-production. Our range of work involves Music Production for Ad Films & Radios, Radio Production, extensive sound design and editing. We are proud to talk about us having been a big part of launching “Digital India”, the flagship campaign of the GOI. Also, we have received a total tally of nearly 23 Radio production awards in the last 2 years.

To further our outreach and dimension of work, we wish to hire a Business Development Manager.

Qualities we are looking for:

We clearly need an aggressive candidate with a YES mind who can sell the products and solutions at ease, follow up with previous clients and work & conceptualize projects with the Government of India. Strong command over multi-media is a must and we usually prefer people who do not smoke, however, that is not a requirement.

Salary Structure:

The monthly target will be 10x (10 times the net salary structure). The salary structure will comprise of a fixed component and an incentive component. 50% of the salary will be in hand and the remainder will need to be earned. Once the monthly target has been achieved, we will pay a good percentage on the extra amount of business generated.

We need the following points to be covered as part of the Job Description:

A. New Business

o Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

o Cold call as appropriate within the market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

o Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your own network.

o Identify more potential clients, areas and scopes of work alongside identifying more decision makers within the client organization you have approached already.

o Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

o Participate in pricing the solution/service.

o Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use your experiential negotiating skills.

o Present an image of the company that mirrors that of the client. We need to be a ONE STOP SHOP for all client needs.


B. Client Retention

o Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships on a day-to-day basis.

o Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs. Understand and be a part of day to day work and routine jobs being conducted in the studio.

o Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.


C. Business Development Planning

o Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

o Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

o Identify the USPs of our company and establish appropriate relationships


D. Management and Research

o Develop a system to lead the organization through a list of clients and meetings

o Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.

o Continuously scout for newer vendors that are beneficial to the business – This is most important as a large part of our business is run on external vendors.

o Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.

o Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.

o Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.

o Research and develop a thorough understanding of the company’s people and capabilities.

o Understand the company’s goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company’s performance.
