An Assistant Chef with Souvee.com will work closely with the Executive Chef to manage kitchen operations and the kitchen brigade, food production, and an exceptional culinary experience


What will it be like to work for this brand?


We are a young company that aims to bring modern cuisine methods to the world of cafe food in Bangalore. We are currently catering to guests online via an internet portal but plan to branch out into a hybrid online-offline model wherein anyone ordering should know who and how their food is being prepared.


What will I be doing?


As the Assistant Chef, you will be working very closely with the Executive Chef, managing the operational requirements of a kitchen and the kitchen brigade. We are looking for interns / entry level chefs who can come and become an integral part of a growing team.

Specifically, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:


Contribute to menu creation by responding and incorporating user feedback

Ensure the consistent production of high quality food through all hotel food outlets

Manage the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized, motivated working environment.


What are we looking for?


To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:


Previous experience in a professional kitchen

Ability multi-task and meet deadlines

A creative approach to the production of food

A passion for producing high quality food

Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, preferred

We are a young company thats working to bring modern cooking methods to the world of cafe food in Bangalore. As the name Souvee suggests, all our dishes hero the sous-vide cooking method; which is basically cooking food under vacuum. The idea is to serve healthy but tasty food.

We have both traditionally cooked and non-traditional items available on the menu.
