About Facebook Hacker Cup:
Facebook Hacker Cup is an international programming competition hosted and administered by Facebook. The competition began in 2011 as a means to identify top engineering talent for potential employment at Facebook. The competition consists of a set of algorithmic problems which must be solved in a fixed amount of time. Competitors may use any programming language and development environment to obtain their solutions.
1st Place: $10,000
2nd Place: $2,000
3rd Place: $1,000
4th-25th Place: $100
How it works:
Qualification round: Everyone who gets at least one problem right will advance to Round 1.
Round 1: The top 500 finishers will advance to Round 2.
Everyone that gets the same number of points as the person in 500th place will also advance to Round 2.
Round 2: The top 100 finishers will advance to Round 3.
Round 3: The top 25 finishers will advance to the onsite final.

Qualification Period: January 8 – 11, 2015
Online Round 1: January 17, 2015
Online Round 2: January 24, 2015
Online Round 3: January 31, 2015
Onsite Finals at Facebook HQ: March 5 – 6, 2015
