Yes, the infrastructure is brilliant for being one of those grand old building from decades ago, but we aren’t just talking about that. The hostel is always hustling and there’s no point of time where you can spot everyone sleeping.

No, not even at 2, 3, or 4 am. There is someone (mostly more than just one) always awake busy with their phones, books, or laptops in some corner of the building.

The Frappe under the Mushroom

Students from Miranda House take pride in their Frappe and they should – given it’s the best available among all other canteens And the fun of the frappe is at its best under the mushrooms.

Don’t give a confused look when someone from Miranda House mentions the Mushroom. It’s the mushroom shaped sitting areas near the Canteen and counts among the most popular places where the students like to spend their spare time sipping their Frappe. Gotcha!

Freedom of expression:

Yes, it’s a women’ college but it’s not a over protective monastery or convent. The college is welcome to interaction with other academic institutions across the country and engages both men and women in its co-curricular activities competing with the best and strengthening their students at the highest of levels.

Inspiring Faculty and seniors

No it’s not mainstream, if you thought so. The relationship between faculty and students share her is unmatched. For any events that happen in the premises or outside, both students and faculty sit and work together to organize the events. And the seniors aren’t those intimidating people who are after your life instead turns out to be your best of friends and guides with the passing years.

Truth about the Party Animals

The college is often criticised for the women populace indulging in too much partying, drinks, late nights, crazy hangouts, etc. But the thing that they fail to realize is that they are very much on their own and can do what they like. And mostly all of it comes after spending hours in the library post lectures.
