According to a recent survey conducted by Glassdoor on 25 best-paid internships, Twitter ranked third with an average pay of $6,791 per month, but,  it’s not just the generous pay that you should consder while looking for a summer internship opportunity at the micro-blogging site that launched in 2006.

Calling his 10 week internship at Twitter “an overwhelmingly positive experience”, Siddarth Chandrasekaran recalls how he got “the opportunity to work on some really cool stuff with very smart people”  and gave him “something to be very excited about, specifically the snack bars, the delicious lunches, teatime, random rockband sessions, co-workers that are artful, creative, daring, take an ingenious approach to the hard engineering problems that Twitter faces and most importantly, a company that supports them by providing a culture of trust and openness.”

To add icing to the cake, he saw the president of Russia on his third day at Twitter and a few weeks later Kanye West dropped for lunch during one of his normal working-as-an-intern days.

Impressed? We thought so.
The best part is that Twitter allows you, the would-be college graduate and aspiring intern to experience what Siddarth Chandrasekaran did.
