The Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), founded in 1917,

is a voice of chemical science globally. It is the world leader with a mission to improve

the quality of life through leadership in the field of chemical sciences. RACI aspires to

popularize science among young students through ANCQ, an International Chemistry

ANCQ is truly an International Quiz with over 100,000 participants of class 7 to 12,

representing around 1500 schools throughout the 23 participating countries.

The ANCQ Quiz does not set out to test any specific science or chemistry syllabus.

However, participation in this activity stimulates young students to a realization of the

important role that chemistry plays in many of the fundamental processes which they

encounter in their science course and in many aspects of everyday life.
