We are looking for dynamic, driven Business Analysts (BA) who can work with the Seniors and Partners to support the research and pitching process, co-develop plans to execute the engagement with hands-on training from his seniors, leverage the firm past knowledge & current experience to develop thought leadership and other firm communication, build client relationship and manage/ exceed engagement expectations, etc. BAs are involved from strategy through execution with a disciplined eye on impact and sustainability at every stage of the project life-cycle. BAs are the operating and executive arm of the firm and act as the service delivery team for all client engagements. BAs are expected to grow throughout their career, building and improving their skills to match the evolving needs of the firm and our clients. BA’s career path leads to a partnership in the firm. Learning to be able to analyze any business, identify their key drivers and the business model and the ability to steer businesses to their goals is an incidental outcome of the training. In our experience, several BAs have grown to be leading engagements/sectors/solutions and carved out a name for themselves in their society/region. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• You will work in small teams with colleagues and clients to build the capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure those results will be sustained.
• Our work is about coaching others to achieve success in implementing new approaches and delivering lasting outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to manage projects and progress, including tracking metrics, handling complex analyses, and preparing communications to report back to the client and internal leadership. Additionally, you'll develop practical recommendations and contribute to team discussions on implications of analysis; identifying implementation challenges.
• You'll work alongside the client’s staff on each project, assisting with implementation tasks. This could include facilitating working sessions with front-line and supervisors, connecting with and motivating the client team, or developing skills of firm’s internal or client team members when appropriate, principally through coaching. You'll also solicit feedback from team members to develop your own skills. Common traits of those successful in this role are leadership, integrity, a sharp analytical mind, creativity, and the ability to work with people across all levels in an organization.

BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Business/Sector/Industry Research: Co-develop with support from Seniors/Partners specific points of views on keeping awake issues, identify and curate solutions and present the firm’s work in internal/external communications
• Methodology Development and Deployment: Design various methodologies for execution of client engagements/industry solutions and deploy these methodologies on engagements and train teams on the same. Develop and submit to the knowledge management team, tools, templates, questionnaires, surveys, tests, matrices, etc.
• Case Studies: Create case studies that highlight the key learnings from an engagement without divulging client confidential information.
• Knowledge Management – use and creation: Deploy knowledge amassed in various forms relevant for each client assignments and create templates, library catalogs, reports, research material, etc. from work executed for contribution to the knowledge database.
• Client Relationship Development: Engage with clients in a manner that leaves an impact
• New Pitch Process: Research and develop a proposed high-level solution design basis primary and secondary research for an identified potential client.
• Support social & philanthropic efforts by the firm in building a strong reputation in the community
• Perform other duties as assigned or required; responsibilities will vary

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree required
• Strong record of academic achievement and clear demonstration of leadership in a work, academic, and/or extracurricular setting
• Ability to identify opportunities for growth and subsequently take a leadership role in exploring new ideas
• Ability and interest to learn the application of problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical)
• Comfortable with significant client interaction and interest in building relationships
• Strong interest in and passion for coaching or mentoring others
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and a local language/s
• Comfort with travel

Since 2013, he has started this boutique consulting organization, working with some select clients, transforming their businesses. We work with decision makers and their organisations, as a coach, driving the various core functions of sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, etc. towards their goals - which range from growing business volume or profits, tapping new customer segments, newer markets and geographies, launching newer products and services. Each engagement has the following essential elements: it is core/critical to the client’s business or its future; it has a target/goal that is almost impossible either in size or timeline or quality or a combination thereof, given the present situation/way of working; and it impacts the community/society/world at large and makes lives better in some form or the other.
