Internship Details

About Internship:

Jhpiego is looking for Interns based at New Delhi. The positions will work with the communications team at Jhpiego India.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand Jhpiego’s India work and about the thematic areas of; Family Planning, Maternal and Child Health and Human Resources for Health and others
• Jhpiego India already has a formal photo bank with clear folders that have been segregated in accordance with various themes and program requirements. The intern will have to:
? Assimilate all stock from the Communications Team and the Intranet
? Segregate and sort under various sub-themes, all the pictures in the already identified folders
• Most Jhpiego India pictures have written consent with them. The intern will have to scan and file all the consent forms that are with the Communications Team
• Transcribe all voice notes, interviews and event bytes, that are with the Communications Team, that could be used for potential success stories, films or short audio visuals
• Design and work on some marketing products

Perks:

The interns will get an insight into the functioning of an external communications department within a development INGO. They will learn about public health in India and documentation and organization of material (including images and text). They will also get to work on some success stories and production of marketing material. This will be an enriching experience with the knowledge of good photographs that create impact in the public health system as well as of the impactful work that is being done under various programs.
