Internship Details

About Internship:

Preferred Interns: UG/PG/MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, M.A/B.A in English

We are seeking a content writer (college fresher or graduate) who has the skill to fluently and precisely write in English.
As CASA is an NGO, we need an intern who can write moving human-interest stories and content based on the raw information which is collected by the communications team on field. They should have the ability to research data/ facts/ figures from authentic sources like newspaper articles, etc. supporting their stories. The Intern must be active on digital media and must help in promoting CASA's content on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Writing content/stories in fluent understandable English for CASA in Action (a quarterly newsletter) . The articles written will be duly checked/edited by the communications team at the CASA Head Office.
2. Data mining from authentic sources supporting the base of your content for the publication. It will be checked by the Communications team.
3. The Intern must be active on digital media and must help in promoting CASA's content on Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
4. Support Digital Marketing team and graphic designer with content online.
5. Support the Communications Team with content management in every way possible.
6. Help Communications Team with Annual Reports and other documentations.
7. Must help the Communications team during events, seminars and meetings.

Perks:

1. Maximum 2 paid leaves granted in a month.
2. Office hours from 9 AM - 5 PM.
3. Will be given an Internship Certificate after the completion of the internship.
4. May extend the internship for another month (with full pay) based on performance review. (Only if the intern is interested in continuing)
5. Saturday is an official off for the interns.
6. Freedom to generate content with fresh ideas. (The content will be open to scrutiny, edits and deletion based on the nature)
7. May join Communication Team for field visits across country.
