About Internship:

WorkLinkr is a gaming startup that desires to bring a change to the Corporate Recruiting process. WorkLinkr is a “Gamification in Recruiting” company. Corporate interviews are tiresome with multiple rounds of technical as well as behavioral questions. Time and cost are spent to select the best candidates only to realize later that major behavioral requirements for team coordination among employees are missing.

WorkLinkr strives to develop personality-based software games that can test the behavioral aspects and the psychological reactions to situations. Games that have strong decision-making foundations understand the core behavioral qualities of candidates such as Team Leadership, Risk Management, Adapting to Change Management, Accepting Failures and Learning to tackle hurdles, Taking Initiatives and Respecting Peer Groups.

The goal of WorkLinkr is to assist corporate firms in bringing a change to the recruiting processes. Implementing game-based screening tests to select the best workforce for the industry is a core service that WorkLinkr would be facilitating through its products and services.

WorkLinkr maintains a core technical team that would take inputs from a vibrant HR team to design gaming questions that test behavioral qualities. WorkLinkr technical team also specializes in creating scenario-based games where replica of workplaces from different industries would be created virtually with high standards of customization. This would enable corporate firms to test applicant’s experience and innovative methods to bring results such as improved output and efficiency; optimized cost and management of resources as well as test of behavioral approach to emergency situations.

Technical requirements:
1. Should have knowledge and hands on experience in web development languages like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, any frameworks like Bootstrap, etc.
2. Have some knowledge and interest in Artificial Intelligence and the frameworks involved.
3. WordPress knowledge and experience will be an advantage. (not mandatory, but willing to learn and work)
4. Must be at least graduating in relevant fields (B.E, BSc, MSc/MCA, or any relevant course or certification). Passouts are also welcome.
5. Must be willing to explore, learn and self-driven enthusiast, as we are not just working but exploring possibilities.

Who can apply:
Only those candidates can apply who:
- are available for the work from home job/internship
- can start the work from home job/internship immediately (starting from Aug. 2019)
- are available for duration of 3 months or more
- have relevant skills and interests

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Designing website for the startup and monitoring day-to-day business operations and working on wordpress theme development.
2. Collaborating with the team and discussing in scrum sessions about every-day responsibilities.
3. Innovating new gaming ideas that would be the core mission of the business to target corporate clients
4. Intern's day to day interaction with the Web Developer and input regarding creative website content would be a prior requirement.
5. Knowledge of Android and iOS mobile app development would be good to have but not mandatory.
