Internship Details

About Internship:

We are currently looking to hire a Content Writer / Editor for covering daily news and current affairs in the international oil & gas market, working closely with our team of research analysts to monitor and report industry events and trends.

1. Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a content writing / editing / journalism role, preferably with some knowledge and practical experience of financial, economic and/or business news reporting.
2. Excellent written and verbal English language skills are an absolute must!
3. Candidates with a degree in English / Journalism / Media / Mass Communication would be given preference

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Monitor news reports on global M&A and Financing transactions in the oil & gas sector, with a primary focus on the upstream exploration & production and oil field services sub-segments.
2. Research, analyse and report on announced, proposed and rumoured M&A deal activity as well as non-M&A related, global geopolitical events with an impact the oil & gas sector.
3. Work with our team of M&A analysts to create, edit and refine our database and research content.
4. Contribute towards the preparation of monthly / quarterly / annual M&A transaction trend reports and any other related publications.
5. Contribute towards the development of the Corporate Database covering 1,000+ international companies in the oil & gas sector.
6. Assist the company's executive management with business development and any other relevant tasks.
